Accounts are provisioned centrally for CRISPIE participating institutions. Individual access requires a project or research-group storage allocation.
Who can request storage?
Research faculty
Eligible requestors can request a new allocation or an increase to an existing allocation for a project or research group.
Principal Investigators (PIs)
Eligible requestors can request a new allocation or an increase to an existing allocation for a project or research group.
Designated project leads
Eligible requestors can request a new allocation or an increase to an existing allocation for a project or research group.
How to request access
Log in with your institution
Go to https://nextcloud.crispie.njedge.net/ and log in using your institutional IDP. Your account will be created automatically but in a disabled state.
Open NextcloudContact support
Email crispiesupport@njedge.net or fill out the request form to get your account enabled.
Receive account details
- Initial access instructions.
- Authentication details or SSO information, if applicable.
- Nextcloud user information needed for mounting the storage allocation.
- Project folder or allocation details once access is approved.

Run your first data transfer
Log in to Nextcloud
Open https://nextcloud.crispie.njedge.net in your browser and log in using your approved institutional credentials or assigned login method.
Navigate to your project folder
Locate the assigned project or storage allocation folder. If it is missing, verify access permissions or contact support.
Upload data through the web UI
Drag and drop files or folders into the browser window. This is best for small to medium datasets.
Use WebDAV for larger transfers
Copy files into the mounted Edge-DTN-STOR directory for large files, batch transfers, scripts, or cluster workflows.
